Our 2024 Board Members
Maine Farriers Association is dedicated to providing Maine hoof care practitioners with continuing education opportunities and a professional network that encourages idea-sharing and communication.
Our membership comprises a diverse group of farriers, trimmers, veterinarians, trainers, and aspiring practitioners (e.g. veterinary interns, farrier apprentices) throughout Maine and New England.

All board members are current active members of the Maine Farriers Association who have volunteered their time and expertise to the association, and had a majority vote by the association's active members at our fall clinic each year.

Our Clinics and Meetings
These 1-2 day events are held in the spring and fall where a featured speaker/clinician presents a chosen topic of expertise and gets openly discussed by those who participate. Our clinician then leads the group in examination of a series of case studies provided by the hosting veterinary clinic, or from the practice of attending farriers. Lunch is provided, and clinics wrap up in the afternoon.
